I won't buy Kasa stuff anymore. If the power goes out or it gets disconnected I have to completely delete and repair it in their app and then again in the Alexa app.

If you have an Apple TV, HomePod, or Eero routers you'd be better of with IKEA's offerings. Wifi smart devices are on the way out.

I've had several Kasa dual plug units in use for a few years and have never had that issue. I've never had to reinstall any of them.

I have exact same one, and learned that its the router with limited number of connection it can handle. If your router doesn't have enough compute power to hold all of connection, when there is power outages, all connections attempt to connect to router and it fails.
