No streaming service has remotely the same quality as a Blu-ray or 4k Blu-ray. Most 4k streaming looks worse than a Blu-ray. And the audio is always compressed on streaming and is terrible.

My wife and I just went back and re-watched this ... followed by the Pacific (eight episodes deep). I'd rather watch this than some zombie or apocalypse series all day, every day.... even though it's heart wrenching.

I do remember when Best Buy would have this for $10 or $15 during a few Christmas seasons. Haven't seen it for anything close to that price since. Stocking up on some for a giveaway at a veterans event we hold every year.

EDIT: Efffffff. Sold out.
EDIT2: going in and out of stock.

Not me. I got one for Christmas from my brother, and I told him I don't have a way to watch it, but I can stream it on Max at any time. I have never mentioned having a player, PS5 or anything before. Then he tells me I can use the promo code on it to watch on Vudu. Yeah, the code expired 5 years ago, and he could have seen that it had expired before buying it. Anyways, it's a great series.

Max is $23 per month for the best plan and you own nothing. That's why people buy blu rays or other physical media. Digital things you "own" can be taken away at any time, I have quite a few of those also but there's a reason they are cheaper. One year of the most expensive Max plan and you can likely own 5-10 series from there instead. Gruv offers 15% off first order

Not sure about the version in this deal, but the tin box set I have features commentary from the men as a secondary audio track. It's amazing hearing from the guys who were there as you're seeing it being re-enacted.
