If you have a microSD card you can take it offline and it will continue to continuously record but just not send any
I used the window mount and blackout window film. At night unless you have a bright flashlight directly pointed at the camera, it blends in with the blackout film. I made a cardboard cutout of the v4 cam and then sliced the outline on my window film
