That said… these leaked for me, before I even got to use them. I bought a decent amount of them when they were clearanced by two different stores (Lowe's and someplace else, maybe HD). I don't think it was every battery but at least a couple in every pack when I went to use them— enough to make the rest of them look problematic. I remember when purchasing them that some packs had some oozed dried acid, so I cherry-picked the clean ones. That should've tipped me off
Maybe there was a regional warehouse that had a bad batch.
