What you should regret is making the same false comment on the previous two threads despite being pointed out that it wasn't released until a month or two ago, let alone be $600; AND, that it was the last year's model. This is the third time you're being corrected, and I hope it's the last.

Windows has been completely recompiled to run on arm just like macOS was recompiled to run on arm.

Crazy expensive! I would not call this a good deal. And it's a shame because some people might not understand the difference between arm and x86 wind up spending a fortune on a computer that is barely compatible with anything

Arm computer is the next big thing for Windows. They will make this replace the old window's platform this summer with the new Nvdia spark chip. Just my though. ARM snapdragon x2 laptop is already faster and more efficiency than any top intel and amd's cpu.

I have had an X2 and an Elite. My portable scanner software wasn't working in any of them. There were also other issues. I would avoid SD until they iron these out

Which X2E-based laptops have you owned and tested? Curious if you're basing your opinion on actual hands-on experience or just parroting something you read online and acting like your an expert?

Your portable scanner software company wrote and released x86 software and driver but not an ARM version and you're blaming the Snapdragon CPU? Sounds like misplaced blame...it's not Qualcomm's job to write drivers for every piece of hardware out there.

I use this exact machine at work- it was provided to me, so I have no real confirmation bias here. If it sucked, I'd say so.

I have to say, I'm blown away by it! Performance is really good; never chugs, never runs stutters. I use VSCode, office apps, etc. nothing super heavy. But this thing can compile Linux images quickly.

Battery life is better than average but not stellar. I keep my brightness all the way up and can get about 5-6 hours of solid work in. On balanced mode.

I've not ONCE ran into a single ARM app issue. I couldn't tell you if/when an app is being translated by Prism or is native ARM. Seamless... and I was not expecting that at all.

For this price I think it's a fair deal. I have a MacBook Pro M2 and this Lenovo is an equal in real world quality, keyboard, perf, etc - I don't feel the urge to go back to the MBP when using this device, like I usually do with other Win PCs.

Recommended.
