I have all of the Basus clip-on earbuds. The XC1 is definitely a step up in sound from the BC1, MC1, and MC1 Pro. That being said, I recently got the MC2, and its sound is close to the XC1, and everything else about the MC2 is much better than the XC1. The MC2 has a better, more secure fit, and the battery lasts twice as long as the XC1.

Today, I would buy the MC2 over the XC1 even if they were the same price. Being that the MC2 is currently $30 less than the XC1 makes the choice a no-brainer.

The best clip on i have ever tried. I have two of them, the black and white one. Sound quality is really good, and bass is strong but not overwhelming. Well balanced sound. I also have BC1, and the sound is not good for music, but definitely podcast is OK. MC1 Pro, it's better than BC1, but not as good as the XC1.

Can anyone share impressions on sound quality, bass extension, bass disotortion, sound output level, and overall tuning, esp compared to their cheaper offerings, e.g. BC1, MC1 Pro? Thank you.

These replaced my AirPods on my commute in terms of comfort and music it's perfect. I can't use it for phone calls though, the microphone only really works if I'm alone in a quiet space or else nobody can hear me.

FYI there are free items like the BP1 pro ($23.99 otherwise) if you pay regular price right now (doesn't work with the coupon code sadly). Guess it's good for if you need something like that as a gift for someone who's not such an audiophile.

Get the $20 pair. Sound quality isn't going to be top notch either way with this style.

How well are they secured on the ear?

I've had issues comfortably wearing these and many others for more than 30-60 mins. I can typically wear a pill style or stemmed earbud all day without issues but these style either pulled or sat uncomfortably due to the weight or general fit.

Only one per customer. I ordered a pair for myself, then tried to order a second pair to be shipped out of state for Fathers Day. The discount did not appear the second time.

I have been looking for earbuds like these for a while. Are these better than the Hauwei open ear?

I think most reviewers consider the huawei free clip and free clip2 to be the gold standard of clip on buds. They are also $200, and not sold in the US.I've seen them on aliexpress, and with coupons could get it down to around $180.The Baseus in the op will probably be good, but not as good as the Huawei. That said, the Huawei don't have physical buttons, so if that's a major issue for you, the baseus will probably be better. I've had the original mc1 and currently use the mc1 pro. I also have the shokz opendots 1. Personally, I'd suggest you get a cheaper set like the mc1 or mc1 pro. To see if you even like the form factor.

This style of earbuds have become my favorite for running. It never falls off and it absolutely is the most comfortable type that allows your to wear sunglasses. I can wear these for many hours compared to other types that go into your ear or loops around your ear. This also allows you to hear your surrounding because it doesn't plug your ear completely.
