If you are new to both, I'd say watch first, read second 😊
I see a few comments here from new book series buyers. A few words of advice:
The TV series covers books 1-6 (and most of the novellas)
You really want to read all the novellas as well.
The novellas are bundled in a separate "Memory's Legion" purchase. It says "complete", but does NOT include the very short "Last Flight of the Cassandra"
"Last Flight of the Cassandra" is not readily available, but can be found here: https://www.scribd.com/document/5...-Cassandra
The recommended order to read them is chronologically by release, not same as in-story timeline:
