Walmart offered me membership for $50 and I also was offered the same price on my credit card. So not a good deal for me!

The AMEX Offer states: "Earn a one-time $49 statement credit after using your enrolled eligible Card to make a single qualifying purchase of $98 or more on a Walmart+ annual membership online." Technically, they could deny the offer if the purchase is less than $98. I'm hesitant to take the risk on this with the 50% off annual membership fee, aka free for a year offer
