Bought this a few weeks ago to replace a 65"LED Vizio from 2019 and am 100% satisfied. Sensible upgrade all around. Heavy console gamer and I have no complaints.

For people who don't game, this isn't really important. All broadcasts/movies are 24, 30 or 60fps. Any display that does 60+ from broadcast is generating frames in the tv, it's not from the source. Just make sure you have frame rate matching on your streaming client for 24 fps content to avoid the jitter effect.

Agree, otherwise I'd wait for this one to go back down to $399 like it was all of last month. Seems comparable to the OP:

we have seen 85" go to $499. this is overpriced at this point for 75". Hold until 75" is in $300-350 which we likely will see later this year and 85" in the $400-450

Several years ago I bought a Vizio smart TV. Vizio later pushed out an update that eliminated the option to change the input to TV to watch over the air or cable TV. They updated my TV to eliminate the TV function. I could still find those channels, but I had to go to their "free streaming" channels app and scroll through all their crappy free channels to find my actual local TV stations. If the Internet went out (like during a severe storm, when I might want to keep an eye on the weather forecast), then the free streaming app wouldn't work and there was no way to easily access live TV. So Vizio is on my never again list.

That's odd. When I got my mini qled set, I skipped the setup and plugged in my streaming stick. It's not connected to the internet at all. Luckily it doesn't force internet setup to use the TV.
