19"? That would be too small. Costco just had a larger 22.6" Delsey Paris carry-on on sale for $80. Unfortunately it's back to the regular $100 now.
This is the regulation size carryon for Europe. Some airlines, like Air France, can be picky and refuse it prior to security. They often make you pay to check it.

Agreed. I have a 20" carryon hardside and it's just enough. Becos it doesn't flex or expand it won't be enough. I just bought a nylon flex 24" check-in and eyeing another 24" hardside for heavier duty. Unlike the Briggs and Riley the handle will also be inside taking up space.
I think it depends on where you are. I keep on seeing it as $53 so there's some postage calculation. What's the deal with all these hardside deals? I'm very suspicion of the checkedin larger hardsides - I just don't believe the zips hold up especially the expandable ones. An older hardside I bought has clamps instead of zips AND a built in luggage strap. I can't believe a flimsy zip in the middle will hold up. The bigger ones must explode and get ripped up like crazy.
