Costco has these in a 2-pack for $64.99 in-store, or $74.99 online this month

I haven't installed the 2-pack from Costco yet, but I have just installed a 4-pack of smoke-only (no CO) of the same brand and same shape.

The green/red LED indicator is recessed down a fairly deep hole - so you can't see it while in the room, unless you stand directly under the detector (so that the LED light lines up with the hole on the surface of the housing).
