Great book, great system. Wish my ADHD would work better with it, but the concepts are fantastic. Like if you are someone who is halfway organized, this is a great way to get fully organized and remove a lot of anxiety. If you are someone who has a mental or physical issue making organization hard/impossible, this book will mostly make you jealous.

Core Principles

The GTD method revolves around five stages of mastering workflow:

Collect – Gather all open loops (tasks, ideas, commitments) into trusted external tools.
Process – Decide what each item means and what action is required.
Organize – Sort actions into categories like projects, next actions, waiting-for, and calendar.
Review – Regularly update and reflect on your system to keep it current.
Do – Execute tasks based on context, time, energy, and priority.
A key rule is the 2-minute rule: if an action takes less than two minutes, do it immediately.

It's too much to manage. I'm managing GTD, instead of things I need to get done.

On the other hand: do you get AI to manage GTD, and then manage AI...

Buying this book will be on my list of things to get done. Unfortunately my track record isn't great for getting things done.

Is there really such a stress free place? Above the rainbow, where the skies are blue?

I wanted to write a book called "Getting Things Done Later (Maybe): The Art of Stress-Free Procrastination" but I've postponed it for the time being.

Apparently I bought this in October and almost bought it again. I guess I'm not really getting things done.
