I think this price is inflated to sell. I bought this in March for $99.99. It works really well and my carpets look and smell wonderful but the tank doesn't last nearly as long as I would hope. I need to refill it like 2-3x per room.

Agreed. But 3 times a room? How much water are you leaving in your rugs? It seems like a lot. I use a similar model

I felt the carpets the first time I used it and they didn't seem soaked and didn't take terribly long to dry either. I wondered if I was just going too slowly but I did try and just keep a steady pace.

Its good to know. Mine is 12 years old. It does great but 1 tank used in the room and the carpet is wet for the entire day.

Thanks for your input. Im getting it tomorrow at Walmart for the same price
