For myself, I have a similar type of Mini-PC (Beelink SER7) hooked up to my TV. It's 1080p (plasma), but this mini-PC is more than capable of outputting 4k.
I use it sometimes as a retro-game console, as well as for the ease of installing add blockers on the Brave browser so I can do things like watch ad-free Youtube. And in a pinch, I use it to look at email or other general stuff when the kids are using the main family PC for gaming.
If you do use it for this purpose, the best media keyboard I've found is the Logitech K400+ It's easy to use the mouse features when standing and holding it with two hands, small and the batter lasts a long time. And you can sometimes find them in used in goodwill for $5. Hand remotes for PC's are available, but they are often not quite as easy to use.

If the parts and cooling on this are up to par, this seems like a very good deal. Usually these are not upgradeable, but not sure on this.

There is an available M.2 slot to install another SSD, but the RAM is soldered in so it cannot be upgraded beyond 16GB. It is LPDDR5 dual-channel RAM though.

When I add the product to my cart, it shows $286.94. However, when I try to pay, the price changes to $425.80. I'm also seeing a different price on my mobile for the mini PC above. Additionally, the coupon code is not applying on my mobile device

While it is LPDDR5 dual channel the speed is 4,800 Mbps not the better 6,400 Mbps speed.

N.B., I bought a firebat mini PC a while back. The hardware is fine but I found almost 50 viruses in the pre installed Windows and other software. Best practice is to wipe the SSD clean as soon as you get it and reinstall windows or Linux.

Some people might not know this, but if you have streaming services with commercials, watching your shows on a browser (with an ad blocker), it will actually skip all the commercials for you. Hooking a mini pc like this to watch shows is rather a good option.

I missed the firebat A5P deal last time that comes with the better CPU, better GPU, and normal DDR5 back from November. Wondering if I should settle for this one.

Great for a solid batocera build
