This folding 8.5 inch scooter stands out as a very cheap clone model with solid real world speed potential and a strong deal price around $84. The Tuya app can unlock settings like max speed and no push start, and several reports say it reaches about 20 mph after setup, even for heavier riders. Out of the box, though, some units are throttled to about 14 to 15 mph, so performance depends on the clone and app behavior. Stock also appears limited in California, making the low price a short lived opportunity.

Common Questions (6)

  • It may ship limited to about 14-15 mph, but the Tuya app can unlock a higher max speed on some units. Several owners report setting it to 20 mph in the app, while others say theirs stays throttled at 14 mph.

    R@VENR@VENMoisesA7010MoisesA7010

  • The scooter uses the Tuya app, not the Vicont app, and the app can expose speed and start-mode settings on some units. One setting reportedly allows no push-start, so the scooter can begin from a standstill.

    MoisesA7010R@VENMoisesA7010MoisesA7010

  • Yes. The same clone scooter is commonly seen around $100-$110 on sale, and $85 or lower is described as unusually low for this size/spec. The coupon also worked when applied directly, making the deal especially strong.

    MoisesA7010stoneheathMoisesA7010forces

  • Not necessarily. The Tuya app reportedly has a setting to disable push-start, letting the scooter start from a standstill without rolling first.

    MoisesA7010MoisesA7010

  • One 200+ lb rider reported it still reaching 20 mph after unlocking the app speed limit. Another clone scooter mentioned in the thread topped out closer to 16 mph for a similar rider, so performance can vary by clone or seller.

    MoisesA7010MoisesA7010

  • It is often out of stock in California and tends to return every 2-3 months. When it does appear at about $85, it may last only a few hours, so it sells out fast.

great deal, got in right when posted and worked. This is the same copy and paste scooter that has been selling for $100-110 (on sale) and constantly posted here with good reviews. So for $84 is even better deal.

Thanks for the suggestion I just tried it but the app can't find the scooter. This scooter makes you use this app called tuya.

Did you go through a cashback website? I went through a cashback website and when I entered the coupon it gave the error message. But if you go directly and apply the coupon code, it worked.

Out of stock in California, but the deal is available every 2 or 3 months. If you are patient you might see it again, however you have to be super fast to buy it, they run out of stock fast. Sometimes the same scooter is available for around $20 more, still a good deal and usually last 1 or 2 days, but $85 or cheaper only last a few hours it not minutes.

we consistently see these clone scooters at $100-105. The $85 range scarce even just searching history here. I have never seen this size/spec scooter lower than $85 though unless a genuine mistake.

Yea I see tuya is used on a lot of these clone scooters. Seems like there are other apps that might be compatible. Have to see what other people say when they get theirs. So yours cant go over 14 MPH? From the other clone scooters like this that ususually is the case until its "unlocked" by the app. I'll report when I get mine.
