But many are. And, of course, many marquee Swiss makers are including Chinese manufacturer's parts in their own calibers. And there is the basic question of whether a sum-1k automatic watch is going matter much around that 1% difference point.
Seagull is generally of high quality. And I as a desert-dweller, I'm attracted to the dial design; a design, by the way, that was introduced by a Chinese watchmaker, and then adopted by several European makers. Many Chinese watches are pretty clear "homages" to popular European watches--but this design has shifted the other direction.
(I had a couple of pairs of Nikes that I bought in Indo for $10, that came out of the factory producing $200 versions for Japan and the US. Same factory, "different" distribution network.)
