Put jack stands under before you go under. There, problem solved. Use some common sense, you shouldn't go under the car even with a good brand without a few jack stands and perhaps a wheel under just in case.

I bought one that looks like this one at Walmart many years ago and I use it quite a bit. Mine is not very fast but it will lift any of my cars, I suggest running the engine while lifting the car. No, it is not stable, it's a scissor jack, but I've never had it fall, just make sure to chock the wheels and set the parking brake. If you are going to work under the car I'm sure that you already know to use jack stands.
Total with 6% sales tax came out to $40.57 which seems reasonable. They claim to ship from USA but I've had AliExpress tell me that before and it still shipped from China so who knows.

Just out of curiosity I looked for this jack on Amazon and the same jack is selling under the Vevor brand name for $65.
EDIT: I received a tracking number from AliExpress and it's an Amazon tracking number so I suspect that this is a Vevor branded jack.

Vevor and SucceBuy are supposed to be the same company (or something like that). Basically, the same stuff but with a different brand name for different sales venue (Aliexpress vs Amazon/Walmart/Ebay).
