This is a mulch and gravel binder meant to keep rock, pebbles, and wood chips in place on slopes, paths, and beds, with free shipping and a promo code that brings the 2 gallon bucket down to about $30. It is described as fast drying, non toxic, and safe for plants, soil, pets, and family, and it is mixed with water and applied in coats. Practical concerns center on the 24 hour wait between coats, sprayer clogging, and the need to clean equipment between uses. There are also worries about labeling quality, missing safety documentation, and whether it really holds up under foot traffic or breaks down into microplastics over time.

  • The promo code can work at checkout when the account is logged in.

  • The binder can be mixed with water for pebble use without washing and drying pebbles beforehand.

  • The product can help stabilize rock on a slope to reduce gravel rolling underfoot.

  • The product may be used to glue rock to other rock for creating larger rock formations.

  • The promo code may require logging in and may need reapplying or refreshing across devices if it fails initially.

  • The binder may break down into microplastics and leach into soil or runoff into waterways, raising environmental concerns.

  • The coating schedule may clog a sprayer when waiting 24 hours between coats.

  • The binder may not resist foot traffic well, since gravel can break apart after gentle crushing.

I hear ya. It's a noble cause, but as individuals we can't really put a dent in the microplastic pollution problem. It's a systematic issue that needs regulation at a government level to control. For every one of us who says no, there will likely be hundreds or thousands who go on to pollute the soil with this. On top of that, microplastics are in pretty much everything, so there's a good chance that we're polluting in plenty of other ways.Normally I would say every little bit counts but this is one of those things that requires a big shift. These companies are perfectly fine with putting the onus on consumers while they manufacture the crap en masse. It's like trying to bail water out of a boat with a shot glass while someone is actively drilling holes through the bottom.
Still you can be the guy knowing your not part of the problem but part of the solution. I hope to think that his comment sways some people to think again from buying something like this.

I mean sure, but you're still going to suffer from the actions of others.
It wasn't that long ago that smoking in bars and restaurants was common. You may not have smoked inside but others still did. It took regulation to put a big dent in the problem.

Brilliant move by SD to incentivize people to set up bots to spam low quality comments to increase their odds of winning giveaways. 🥱

Ok, what is this? Like, specifically, what is the active ingredient?

Nothing says on Amazon and I have zero faith the "watering can with holse" and "1/3 quart warter" company really knows what "non-toxic" means.

Saw this applied to gravel with flagstones. Looked good. Rechecked 3 days after the installation: the gravel did not hold together that well and broke apart after gentle crushing.
Might be good to look at but didn't stand up to handling. Doubt that it will be resistant to foot traffic. Don't expect an epoxy effect. Expect to waste money.

Nothing like mixing up gallons of an Amazon Chinese company and pouring it around your living space. I'm sure sponsored "Molyly" cares for your safety as much as they care for their product page of errors and photoshop happy families.

It also has its horde of 5 star vine reviews of someone simply holding the jug.

This isn't actually dead or expired, the promo code works to take 50% off the current price which is $69.99 now, so it comes out to $35 instead of $30 now.
