If used on wood mulch, how long does it hold, 1 or 2 years?

Why do poeple use this on mulch? Purpose of mulch is to absorb and keep the soil moist to extend water feeding. If you use this doesn't that defeat the purpose?

Not everyone uses mulch in the way you describe.

It's crazy to take a simulation of the natural world and then inject as much plastic as possible into it.
Hmmm. That's exactly how I use mulch! Lay it down. Glue it together. Walk away for 5 years...

I hear ya. It's a noble cause, but as individuals we can't really put a dent in the microplastic pollution problem. It's a systematic issue that needs regulation at a government level to control.

For every one of us who says no, there will likely be hundreds or thousands who go on to pollute the soil with this. On top of that, microplastics are in pretty much everything, so there's a good chance that we're polluting in plenty of other ways.

Normally I would say every little bit counts but this is one of those things that requires a big shift. These companies are perfectly fine with putting the onus on consumers while they manufacture the crap en masse. It's like trying to bail water out of a boat with a shot glass while someone is actively drilling holes through the bottom.
That analogy of drilling holes in the boat sounds like a hilarious cartoon moment.

What do you mean, how do you use it, otherwise what's the point of mulch just leave it as grass? No?

I used Ekoflo pebble binder. It must be totally different because you had to wash and dry the Mexican pebbles before mixing with the pebbles. This stuff you mix with water.

Amazon accidentally delivered a 5 gallon bucket of this and when I contacted them they told me it costs too much to ship back and to keep it. So now I have no idea what to do with it.
