Any chance this laptop contain an embedded Windows OEM license that will activate Windows automatically after installation?

It is nigh impossible to get much of anything for $200 these days, especially with 16 or potentially 32 gigs of memory!!!

More than good enough for everyone who isnt busy cosplaying as a content creator or an AI developer. I rock a 10th gen for my daily...loud and heavy, but gets the job done well.

Yeah, and this is new for me. Is this No OS now a std practice? Like the airlines, tix, seat extra, bags extra, meal extra and gate priority extra.

It's actually a good thing, if you don't need to pay for another license. I like to run linux (ubuntu, mint, etc.) on older machines, but even in the cases where I don't, I use a cheap Windows key from somewhere else to install what I need. If you want to turn it on and go, then obviously that's an inconvenience, but it results in a clean installation without any added nonsense from Dell.

Thanks. From time to time, Groupon has cheap license for Windows on sale. Got it. Thank you.

I plan to download the OS via "Dell OS Recovery Tool" by reading Service Tag # from BIOS. Will try that once receiving mine.
