I'm curious if there is anyone who has tried the off brand heads for the Sonicare, only to decide they would rather pay for the name brand? It amazes me the price they ask for these, but they have never come down even with all the Chinese sellers of essentially the same thing so I have to assume plenty of people are buying them.

I did. Chinese copies are significantly worse in my opinion. (Like basically I can feel with my tongue that the quality of cleaning is much lower)

Yeah I know what you mean, I got a pack once that apparently were extra soft and didn't clean anywhere close to every other brush I've tried.

i got cheap ones from aliexpress and they were so abrasive my gumline receded on one of my teeth. i will happily buy the "official" ones even if the off brand is produced in the same factory.

I've tried 3 or maybe 4 different no-name-brands so far. One might have been a rebrand of another brand I tried because they looked identical. 1 brand had stiffer bristles that cleaned really fast but hurt my gums if I wasn't careful, 1 had nice soft bristles but didn't clean quite as well so I had to brush for 2.5mins instead of 2mins to get the same cleaning, and 1 brand had 2 heads that cracked at the base of the shaft where the metal rod inserts after a few uses but they had pretty similar feel to the OEM one that it originally came with. I still prefer to only use aftermarket brands just to show Phillips Sonicare that I'm not paying their ridiculous prices for brush heads even at the "sale" prices which are still way to expensive for what you get. Aftermarket replacements are so cheap that you can order 3 or 4 different brands, each containing a 6pk or 10pk, and you'll still pay less for all of those packs combined than this single 6pk of name brand brush heads. Just try different brands until you find one that works for you since they are so cheap because there is no large or reputable data set or review site that accurately defines which knockoff/aftermarket brands work better than others...yet.

Are the A3 that much better than the C3? Same price but you get two more heads.
