Audiophiles are the funniest ever customers for their gear. They somehow manage to justify a $500 machine that cleans a little dust off a record and will manage to claim that it made all their records sound so much better 😁
Tell us more about how you dont understand what your talking about. Dust gets caught in the grooves of records. Sometimes the dust is from the factory where the record was pressed or sometimes its a 40 year old record. Using an ultrasonic cleaner compared to using a cloth and solution is much better and for people who listen and collect vinyl everyday this makes a lot of sense.
I was interested in this but I noticed on the Humminguru website, it is being sold $395.
How can Amazon charge $599, is it the same item? https://humminguru.com/products/h...-cleaner-2
Oops, it looks like that is the Hong Kong price and it costs a small fortune to ship it.

I mean, get on with the times and use digital, bit perfect audio.
Vinyl is an inconvenient way to listen to altered, distorted audio.

No, but you need to call yourself one to convince your partner this is money well spent 😜
I bought one last year and consider it money well spent. Even brand new records are dirty with residue on them. It cleans and dries and records look immaculate coming out of this machine. There are more expensive options like the Degritter that are 3x the price. I would never buy that one because this works so well.

I completely agree with you. I don't play my vinyls for their astonishing audio quality. I play them because it's a nice experience. Im not driving around with a bunch of LPs in my passenger seat and I'm betting no one else does either.

As one who has been married for over 40 years, it is always better to ask for forgiveness than permission.
How about less than $100? MYUSAFF12 takes it down to $80. 9% cash back too for one of the usual sites.

I just thought GC was not going to carry them anymore, not that Discwasher was going out of biz.

These are very effective too. They're manual, and there are different brands. Just another option and worth reading up on the differences.
