I reckon it would be much more helpful to everyone if you also provided links to other better deals available out there for the price, instead of that 5-worded unhelpful comment.

32 gb of memory and a still-decent video card + 1 TB for this price is actually pretty good?

It IS a good deal. The extra 16GB alone costs $300 or more. Then a nice CPU and screen.

The Helios ai16s eBay refurb for $1350 or so is good when it's on sale. 5070ti 115w, OLED, 32gb ram and 1tb ssd.I have it it's good

https://ebay.io/m/J70xiN

It goes out of stock often but comes back pretty fast.

That's a refurb while this is brand new, not everyone wants a refurbished unit. Putting the much powerful 5070 Ti aside, this has a much bigger 90Whr battery while the Helios has a 76Whr; additionally, this has MUX Switch while the Helios does not, so all of this paired with a very good IPS (although not OLED good) translates into much better battery life on this model. This is also lighter being 4.85 lbs while the Helios is 5.07 lbs.

The RAM is already priced in. They didn't pull RAM from stock and add it in. It was already there unsold for ages before the price increase. It's not a slick deal.

What a pair of non-sensical and illogical comments.

You do know there are a plethora of people out there who want gaming laptops that they can also travel with, right? Not everyone wants a desktop replacement in their basement. Some people also want control over their GPU, to turn it on and off by a press of a button and that's where the MUX switch comes in. Just because you don't care about battery life does not mean everyone else doesn't either.

So, let me get this straight. If you bought an EV right now for $20,000 and over the course of 5 years EV parts and prices soar, you'd sell your EV for the same price you purchased it at after those 5 years? Hope you realize how utterly stupid that sounded. Almost every single computer product, laptops in this case, have gotten price hikes regardless of if they were released 3-4 years ago or just recently released.

Your only going to play max 1-1 hour 30 mins with most laptops
