I see a lot of good reviews then a lot of BAD reviews regarding the seat clips getting loose... Might be the reason it's 50% but nor gonna lie I'm interested in trying at that price still... Anyone else use these in the past?
No experience with these, but I did pick the one with fishing pole holders for my son. For 50% off it's worth taking the chance I feel this is a really good price .

Probably the Teton or Crosswater. Teton is more of an "angler" version with a framed seat, both have pole holders and rails. They are $100 more than this one though.
Makes me wonder if I should even go pick up the Teton now https://www.dickssportinggoods.co...6&camp=EML

Well, pretty much the same boat, Lifetime makes Quest. Biggest difference would be the seat on the Teton likely being better, dedicated dry storage instead of open storage, and it has a cutout in the rear for a 5 gal bucket (not that you couldn't set one in the Tioga). The Teton does have accessory rails as well, whereas the Tioga just has the front rod holder, though those are easy enough to add later. I'd say you have to question if having that seat is worth the extra $70 or so (since you still have to buy a paddle). Both have about the same dimensions, same weight capacity, similar hull shape. Personally, I'd probably still go with the Teton if fishing was my primary goal, as I'm sure the paddle that comes with the Tioga is ̶j̶u̶n̶k̶ barely serviceable anyway.

That was super helpful!
Teton seems great though I think I underestimated how heavy and long it is.. might have to part ways with it as it's having trouble fitting in storage unit's elevator 😭 https://i.imgur.com/QDNXho1.png
