Mine is set to renew July 2.
Went to account, clicked walmart+ button at top, clicked cancel membership. Immidiately saw 5 minute timer, clicked redeem offer. My renewal date still shows July 2nd, but now there's '$49' displayed next to it. I assume it'll use my card on file.
Oh, then I received an email verifying it'll renew at $49.
Im impressed how easy they made it.

Walmart deliveries in my area are horrid ! They just drop stuff wherever is convenient, I'm in a condo complex. But if this works might as well keep it
EDIT:
Not due to renew until Nov but I hit cancel and was given the same 5 minute window to auto renew at $49 again in Nov !!!
