About this item:
  • Unlike most ultra-affordable Casio watches, the AE-1500WH is a large watch that looks more expensive than it is, blending design elements from G-Shock and Pro Trek. Described as a wide-face model, the LCD display resembles full-digital Pro Trek watches with its larger digits, and the bezel features four G-Shock-like bumpers that protect the display and give the watch a rugged style.
  • Water resistant to 10 ATM, making it suitable for various water-related activities. The case measures 54.4 × 51.2 × 15.7mm and weighs 57 grams, with a resin case, resin band, and resin glass. A full auto-calendar runs accurately to 2099 with selectable 12/24-hour format and ±30 seconds per month accuracy.
  • Features 5 multi-function alarms with 1 snooze alarm and an hourly time signal, plus a 1/100-second stopwatch with a measuring capacity of 23:59'59.99" covering elapsed time, split time, and 1st-2nd place timing modes. A complete timing and scheduling toolkit in one accessible package.
  • The countdown timer covers up to 24 hours with auto-repeat, settable in 1-minute and 1-hour increments, plus dual time for tracking a second time zone simultaneously. The AE-1500WH does not have world time, but it does have dual time — ideal for travel and remote work.
  • This men's standard digital watch comes equipped with a 10-year battery and LED backlight with a large crisp digital display that is easy to read. Powered by a CR2032 battery with an approximate 10-year life — meaning years of daily use with virtually zero maintenance.

Picked one of these up last month, can't complain tbh. Battery's been solid, hasn't even blinked low yet. Wore it swimming a couple times no issues. Only thing is the band feels a bit stiff first week or so but breaks in fine. For $22 honestly can't beat it, my old Casio digital cost me almost double a few years back lol. Cop it if you need a beater watch.

I have a blue one and I think it is my favorite every day watch: affordable, reliable, nice looking. I do have a white Casio for travel, but it is a different model. Having a white Casio has proven to be a good purchase in my case.

It's a 10yr battery, why would it ever blink after a month?

I did some rough calculations, based on current data, he or she might have had to travel to Alpha Centauri and back and that's why only one month passed here on Earth but really it was 10 years.
(Edit: it might have actually been
Barnard's star)

For velocity time dilation, the month would have been experienced by the traveler and everything that was carried along. Ten years would have elapsed on Earth (assuming near-light speed.)
