If anyone was thinking of using the $1 Xfinity offer to rent Project Hail Mary .

Amazon Prime also has this offer: $1 for a one month trial subscription to MGM+. Project Hail Mary is streaming there and you'll have all month to watch it.

First movie in weeks I needed (rise of gru) but it seems it gave me the first despicable me instead despite selecting rise of gru.

I clicked the 3rd/bottom blank option hoping it would be The Rise of Gru, but the confirmation unfortunately said Minions, AND that was wrong too since when I open Xfinity Stream I see it gave me Despicable Me. I still haven't gotten an email confirmation.

When I clicked the blank circle and redeemed it told me I selected "Minions" but I just logged into Xfinity streaming and it shows they gave me "Despicable Me". I had both of those already. I wanted "Rise of Gru". I think Xfinity needs to get better programmers for their website.

So I never got an email, it never showed up in my Fandango At Home account like all other Universal movies do, and it does not show up as redeemed on the Rewards page. But I just checked Xfinity Stream area and "Despicable Me" shows up there even though I ordered "The Rise Of Gru" so that shows that the Minions promotion was successfully redeemed. Unfortunately, I already own "Despicable Me". 😞

Similar experience to everyone here. Selected what should have been Gru. No confirmation. Appears I was sent despicable me which I already own. Xfinity support is clueless.
