Why would you need Android Auto in your kitchen?
Those are called android tablets and have slightly better audio unless you are streaming to bluetooth speakers. At least with a tablet you can use something like the grayjay app to use youtube w/out ads.
Android Auto will let you watch youtube while not moving but you'll need Android 17 which only just came out for Pixel phones 2 days ago. Other phones should eventually get it. You can only use background audio with youtube premium w/ that also.
But if you don't have android/carplay at all in your car you have to get something like this.

So do you unmount this and hide it/take it with you everytime you leave your car, in case of thieves?
Reviews for all of these seem so hit or miss, especially for android
