The PNY cards on Walmart are notoriously counterfeit, look at the reviews. Most likely will be the same deal with these
I've seen what you're describing among reviews for PNY (and other brand name) microSD and SD cards that are sold and shipped by some third-party sellers via Walmart.com; but has this also been your experience when it comes to cards that are sold and shipped by Walmart themselves (as this particular item is)? Thanks in advance
Needed these for a new dashcam. In for 2! Still cheaper than a single specialty endurance microSD, so if I burn through both of these still saved money
Honestly though I have yet to burn out a single microSD in a decade of using dashcams
NAND (memory chips) are being diverted from consumer products (SD cards) to be used for data center products. They dont use these directly, but manufacturers are producing less of them and know they can make up the cost from people that need the smaller supply.
out of stock now. I missed this deal. From my purchase history, I saw I paid less than $20 in 2023 and 2025 for a 256mb Samsung micro sd card. In 2023, I even returned a $16 Samsung 256mb micro sd card because Amazon dropped it to $15 after my order. Amazon did not do price match on the $1.

Gotta love the 256MB sdcard I tell ya. Fits 20 mp3s for sure.
Really? I don't remember 256gb cards going less than $20 but maybe I'm mistaken. I bought a ton of 128gb for $12-20 over the years.
IIRC, good prices were $15+, but I could be wrong. I'm still going through 128gb team group cards for I think $8 each, and got some 128gb kingston cards for $6 each, but they aren't usable for continuous write applications.
