This is a great watch if you want a patina to your watch over time.

I've heard mixed reviews on this brand. Lots of people say it seems cheap but I've never owned one. A bronze case is sort of a niche thing so hard to complain about this price.

Underrated aspect of this watch is that it is one of the thinnest 200m dive watches available for sale. It's only 10.2mm which is unbelievably wearable.

I've had a stainless steel one for years and it's always been in rotation and never let me down

I currently own several Glycine Combat subs (not including all the ones I traded off); including a bronze version, I can say that these watches punch way above their price point... even post invicta ownership. The bronze versions in particular are very nice. Go and check out the watch forums and YouTube reviews... besides the invicta parent ownership issues, general complaints are usually within what is considered a normal distribution for a product produced en masse.

It's rare for them to go much cheaper than this. The cheapest I can remember seeing a bronze version was during the heart of Covid and it was only $45ish less than this. That's when I picked up mine. I have the blue fade dial with blue bezel insert. The patina developed nicely and it's one of my favorite watches to wear. These come vacuum sealed in plastic so it doesn't begin oxidizing until you open the package.

Quick Teddy Baldassarre review from several years back:

You can get a great patina on these with salt and vinegar fumes. Not the liquid, just the fumes.

These are slightly better than the watches you can buy from the guy wearing a trench coat.

The cheapest the bronze combat subs have ever been was $335 during the middle of Covid lockdown... which is pricing that will probably never be seen again. I think a $44 (13%) above the cheapest price ever is still considered a deal, and thats NOT factoring in the hyper inflation we've had which would bring that gap down even more... maybe not a screaming deal, but if you've had you eye on one its a good deal.
