Still in the same ballpark are the Celestron SkyMaster 15x70 Astronomy Binoculars at $90. These are pretty good at night and you can use them for other things, too.

I use a spotting scope for range shooting. In my experience, to get a variable magnification spotting scope that will give you both clarity and low-light performance will come at a significant increase in price.
