How do these compare to the MC1 pro or the XC1s ? Most reviews for the XC1s say they are one of the best.

These are apparently pretty good, reviewer scarbir dot com likes 'em.

I just received the new MC2 clip-on and they won't stay on my ear! The clip does not pinch the two end pieces together nearly tight enough. I have the MC1 and MC1 Pro and they work fine. I am very disappointed. I ordered them direct from Baseus to get the intro 50% discount. I wish I had ordered from Amazon for an easy return.

Update: I e-mailed Baseus with a return request and they responded promptly. The new MC2 comes with a rubber-like cover on the piece that fits into the ear. It ships with a Medium size installed but has a Large and X-Large in bags. I attached the X-Large and the earbuds now don't fall off. It's a real pain to replace this little rubber piece but it appears to have solved the problem. And yes the sound and especially the battery life are exceptional.

2nd Update: After using the MC2 for a week, I am disappointed with the comfort. I can wear the MC1 or MC1 Pro all day and I forget I have them on. The MC2 uses a 'rubber' cover on the end of the earbud to keep it in your ear. It comes with three sizes, the difference being a 'bulge' on the top that presses against the ear. This is all that keeps the earbud in place. The 'clip' does not pinch the two ends together as with the MC1 and MC1 Pro. For me, even with the X-Large cover, the earbud does not stay in the proper 'near horizontal' position and it irritates my ear after several hours. I really love the extra long battery life of the MC2 but I can't wear them long enough to take advantage of it. I will stick with the MC1 or maybe splurge on the XP1. BTW, don't buy anything direct from Baseus.com. Returns are very difficult and you pay return postage.

Bought these a few week's back. For the most part these are better than the MC1/MC1 Pro (not sure about the XC1). Bass is much better than both and the spatial audio setting sounds better. Mids and highs are still kind of meh. But the the EQ in the app helps iron out the quality. Baseus says they're supposed to be easier to wear than the previous models but I haven't really noticed any kind of difference.
Obviously they're still not as good as traditional ANC earbuds, but if you like these clip on style buds and $50 is the limit of your budget this are a great option.

I have all three. MC2 is better than the MC1 Pro in every way. The XC1 has better sound than the MC2. The MC2 has a better fit and almost twice the battery life of the XC1, 11.5 hours vs 7.5 hours.

How well does the mic work? I need them for work.
I have the Sound C40i and recently people have said they can not hear me as well. I think that is actually related to a recent windows update, but those are other issues.

Its a good deal but its 80 regular price. Saying 130 is a large exaggeration. Noye theres a cheaper 'air' version you probably dont want so dont be confused.

I retuned these due to usability. I struggled getting them on the correct ear and the physical button is dreadful. I am used to touch controls so it was a downgrade in my eyes. I got the Soundcore AeroFit 2 and they fixed both of my issues. Sound was similar on both, but bass was better on the Soundcore. This is definitely a preference choice not a problem with the product.

I guess I bought these right before the prime day discount. Time to rebuy/return to save $10.

Used it for a day so far, and don't notice anything particularly different from the mc1 pros I use daily.

The only notable difference so far is the silicon sleaves that go over the ball part that rests in your ear. They are a little tricky to put them on and remove.

I don't mind the button controls since they don't accidentally trigger and are reliably trigger when pressed. With touch controls on other clip on buds, I've had issues with my neck triggering a tap and also not registering the taps.

I haven't tested the mic performance yet.

I'm actually having the opposite experience! Currently testing the soundcore aerofit 2 pro with their try-for-30-days promo. Then saw these MC2 on sale. I really like the sound on these! As far as fit, I learned you want them positioned horizontal and clipped to your outer ear rather than drooping downward. The anc on the soundcore aerofit 2 pro are just "ok" and the open mode doesn't feel open enough. I feel the aerofit 2 pro's case is way too big for EDC. I've settled myself to keep using my soundcore space A40 for strong anc, and these MC2 for open mode/running buds. I also feel these MC2 sound better and stay put better than my shokz openfit 2.

Thanks. But judging from the release patterns, we can expect an MC2 Pro I assume, so I'll wait for that or maybe the XC2. Currently using the MC1 Pro and the primary improvements I'm looking forward to are: louder volume, better sound quality.
