Didn't even notice that at first. Just got a new chair, because I told my old one to work, and these type wheels made all the difference on carpet. Way quieter rolling around too, and rolls like it was on rails. Slid clear across the shop floor the other day just pushing it out of the way.

If your chair is on any floor (but especially carpet), you need these whether you know it or not.

I'm not sure if these are truly better. I have these on my chair on carpet and they always dig in and get stuck.

You must have thick carpet. They work great for me on medium pile and hard floor.
