My personal opinion, but Kindle's biggest strength has always been B&W reading. That's what makes it unique. Sure, some people read color magazines and comics, I just downloaded a few comic books and regular book (w/ figures) to test, I feel that current B&W reading experiences of kindle scribe is amazing. To me, color is a nice-to-have feature rather than a must-have. Especially when there are already many competitors on the market that offer much more vibrant and vivid color displays on OLED or miniLED. I mean, why not just get an iPad if you're looking for a color reading experience.

So that's great... I have no intention of using the case... so I can just return it and get credited.. did you do that? They'll credit you 130 or whatever they're worth? That would be awesome. That would make the Colorsoft around $300 which would be great considering it goes for double that normally. Thanks for the heads up on this.
I did get mine yesterday.. it's really awesome and I was on the fence on the BW cuz I know the screen is a bit sharper without the color/layer.. but I do read comics and I also like to download old Fangoria/Famous Monsters/Starlog off of archive.org and they look great on the colorsoft, not as vibrant as a magazine or Oled tablet but definitely enough.
EDIT >>>>> OK so I just went to my Amazon account and checked.. If I select to return items it shows the case at $85 and the 20w charger at $15 so that's $100 off of the $439 I paid so $339 for the Colorsoft. Hecka deal.. I'll likely be doing that.
