I even inquired "Is the 2k doorbell that I just purchased compatible with the Sync Model 2 that I already have and will it record video events?" and Alexa is telling me that it is.
Regardless, the price is too good for me to pass up so I got a set for about $30 shipped; thanks OP. I find Blink cameras useful for monitoring occasionally appliances and infrequently visited areas like sump pumps, water heaters, oil fuel tank levels and cellars. Saves my lazy ars a trip down to the basement at least

Pros: Long battery life. I think mine's been running for like 2 years on a location with minimum movements. Can install it almost anywhere with your wifi without running cables through walls.
Cons: Not a continuous recording. I think 30 seconds max recording and then there is a cooldown period. If something you want to record happens between captures, it's gone.
