Sync Module Core : No Local Storage
Sync Module 2 : Local Storage w/USB 2.0 port
Sync Module XR : Local Storage w/MicroSD slot

If this is Sync Module Core, then it requires cloud subscription.

USB is NOT an option with this sync module. You need a different sync module. I have two other comments in this thread regarding it, and I am an actual Blink owner and have had both types of sync modules.

I've gotten really good battery life on my blink 3 cameras but the blink 4s just drain so fast, sometimes in a month, that's with maybe 10 or so movements and records a day, the 3s last about 6 months with generally the same usage. Could the 4s have a defect?

You won't be able to change the firmware or the fundamental recording logic, but you can wrap Blink with your own automations in Python using blinkpy and similar integrations

I am a senior who is going back to school to obtain my bachelor's degree in business.The wireless video door bell and cameras is a good deal.. I need the funds to purchase and activate this system for my residence. I've lost so much over the years and I am tierd of paying to get screwed by others. A picture is worth a thousand words.
