I currently run 4 Coway at my place, I need 4 since I'm sensitive to noise so it will take a couple of them to work when running at speed 1.
And same here as you. Got two of the 5510 version (the new 5500-2 they say) that was on sale for $123 via Amazon recently, and both have subtle fan rattling. It sounded like it was rubbing against something and is noticeable at lower fan speeds. As someone who is sensitive to sound, it can be an annoyance. As a reference point, I also have the OG 5500 model, the one that has the remote and white colored, and even that was quieter than the new 5510, no rattling and many many years on it. Also have the Costco 610 version and that one does not make the rattling sound.

My 2 cents here though…my experience as shared in one of my posts in this thread are my two 5510 units exhibited fan rattling sounds out of the box, but it's subtle to the ears. However I can attest that isn't normal since I have similar units, one the OG 5500 and the Costco's 610, neither that exhibit the fan issue whether old or new. Might be a bad batch but definitely doesn't help with its historical reputation on bad fan bearings. If you're sensitive to noise or very particular about it, I'd stay far away from these 5510, 5520, 5530 models unless you have good warranty backing it up or return policy.
