I do not own this light, but every time it's posted here people say it really sucks compared to every other light DeWalt makes.

I think I'd personally give more weight to the nearly 21K reviews on Amazon with 4.8/5 ratings.

Low lumen output makes this thing suck. You can get handheld lights with better output than this thing.

Only 110 lumens on this one (per the listing). For comparison, the Harbor Freight one is 500 lumens and just $30 at regular price, and you can get it a lot cheaper when it's on sale.

Its absolute trash. Dim spot beam. I have two of the flood lights 9DCL050) and farking LOVE THEM. I hate my little round light (above). Its annoying and worthless. Not even worth 20 bucks. Hell I wouldn't even pay 10 bucks for it. Get the DCL050 (or a couple of them).

lol. That doesn't mean anything. Especially after reading a few thousand random product reviews. Most people cannot figure out how to insert batteries correctly, or that you need to remove protective film off optical plastics, etc. People are DUMB. And many reviews are fake/bots/paid for.
Just read any thread here on this light. maybe 3% of the SD'ers will like the light. Its trash. Not worth $32.

Why is amazon selling this for half the price of what it costs at Lowe's, Home Depot, etc. ($69)?
I paid about the same for the ancient DW906 14.4V variant 25 years ago.

I bought this light thinking "30 buck brand name light, how bad could it be." Well, its pretty bad. Your basic AA Maglite puts out more light. The advantage is the light angles up and down so you can put it on a flat surface and aim it, but the lack of output really kills it.

My Metabo lights put out tons more lumens, and Milwaukee also makes great jobsite lights.

The Ridgid LED stick light is hands down the best light out there by a mile. I own multiple of them.
