Compared to AMD's usually inflated CPU pricing, yes, good deal, but this is what the regular price should be for this cpu considering it's age and performance. But in today's market, if youre looking to piece together a PC, might be better off getting a discounted bundle that includes RAM and a MB.

Well, not for an 8 core AM5 cpu no.. this is as cheap as I've seen it. woot had a 7900x a few months ago for just $200 which was a real solid deal.

this neatfield is tripping..... a ryzen 7700x at 170 is regular price? when and in what world are you living in buddy? this is their first am5 cpu and the latest one is the successor. 170$ for this CPU is an excellent deal.

CPU's are getting cheaper in the same pattern as they usually did before the chip crisis. Not enough to offset of even ease the burden of cost of the rest of the components
