Prettier with picture of cardinal, but also more expensive at $9.51
The good thermometers use mercury in them, and are made out of glass not plastic.
I looked in the dollar stores for the quality of thermometers recently posted on slick deals. This is the cheapest I could find.
You might still be able to buy a pack of small digital thermometers on amazon for 6-7 dollars still, but you won't be able to see them at a distance.
