FYI, your local warehouse may have these for $9.99 after the $3 discount. Mine does.

Me too in MI. First time I've seen them on sale.

These are pretty much the only pellets I use now. Fantastic value and a little higher quality compared to Pit Boss.

Anyone have any insight into how these are compared to the Traeger brand? Preferences?

Very similar. I used to use the Traeger blend from Costco and then tested these which were about $8-10 cheaper and the quality is almost identical. The bag is a little crappier so I actually kept the Traeger bag around to hold these pellets until I finally upgraded to a plastic storage bin.

I positively hate costco's bullshit "free shipping" scheme. BTW, it's "shipping and handling included" in their listings. Sam's will at least charge the same on the site as in the stores, Costco won't. So, upcharge for shopping online, then add in a ridiculous shipping charge, and you're sometimes paying upwards of 50% more on items.

What a value! Eat a dick, costco-dot-com.

Also, these pellets are legit. Grab them in warehouse and save $7.
