Community Reviews
Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 pricing is the main draw here, with the 40mm and 44mm models landing far below normal retail on the EPP site. The watch itself gets strong marks for handling everyday tasks well, and the LTE version has been picked up successfully at the deal price. Access can be finicky, though, with sign in loops, price jumps, and workarounds like incognito mode, VPNs, or waiting before retrying. The offer is limited to one per account, and the series has a reported Wear OS battery drain issue that is worth weighing before buying.
Common Questions (5)
The deal price can be hard to reproduce because signing in may loop back to the login page or show a higher price first. Workarounds that helped include waiting and retrying later, using incognito mode with cookies accepted, or changing VPN cities until the discounted price appears.
Yes. The 40mm LTE version was seen at different prices on desktop and the mobile app, and other Galaxy watch models also appeared discounted on the same EPP site. Checking both desktop and mobile can surface a lower price.
The Wi‑Fi version is cheaper and can use Bluetooth through the phone, while LTE adds a monthly cellular fee. LTE only makes sense if you need the watch to work without a nearby phone.
Yes, the discounted watch purchase is limited to one per customer/account. That matters if you were planning to buy multiple units under the same EPP login.
Yes. A Wear OS update bug has been reported to drain Galaxy Watch 8 series batteries in a few hours by keeping Google Play Services at high CPU usage in the background, and no permanent fix has been officially acknowledged.

Was not seeing the price initially. Keep seeing $279. I tried adding S26 Ultra and then remove but didn't work. Sign in and out several times. Waited an hour later and saw the price when click on link. Thanks for the post.

I get the out of pocket cost vs credit but my question is whether the 2 year contract is manageable. I plan to get this for my kids (10 and 12). Not sure if the watch will last 2 years for them.
