Yep. Technology is evolving so quickly that older products fall in price very quickly. Thankfully, this is still an awesome printer, and if I didn't already have an X1C, I wouldn't think twice about buying this.

wasn't the P2S combo like $100 or $150 more just recently ? seems like that would be better to hold out for.

I bought a P1S Combo three weeks ago for $549, but then it went on sale for $499, and the P2S Combo was selling for $699. Since the price difference was small, I exchanged it for the P2S Combo, which is much better.
