This has to be junk. No way this won't fall apart and leave broken glass on the floor and potentially cause you more trouble later.

Various retailers carry this desk or very similar desks, and overall reviews are quite good. Slickest deal by far is ordering direct (this deal).

Amazon has some bad reviews: pieces arriving damaged, difficult assembly, holes not aligned properly, glass top shattering, poor customer service. At this price, I'd take a gamble on it IF it were just MDF, but not with glass. Bummer.

Thanks for those reviews. Some of those had some pretty bad product damage. Hope order direct from Walker Edison will help with returns/warranty. The one that showed the shattered glass was pretty gnarly.

Yeah, the reviews are schizophrenic – for MDF it is pretty beautiful https://youtu.be/v4kXX5Z0Fek?is=Mr2iO7DsoA-5t035 (especially for 20 bucks) according to several customers, but on the other hand it is definitely a risky buy with myriad assembly and breakage issues. I'm taking the gamble -- will set it up https://images.salsify.com/image/...a5933c.pdf right away for a tiny little guest bedroom. If it's defective, hopefully they will immediately refund… we'll see!
