Inb4 not pure sine wave comments.

I've been using simulated sinewave ups's for a long time with all sorts of computer and networking equipment and never had an issue because of that. sure, they may be better, but in most cases totally useless difference.

This is a darn good deal!

If you want you can get full refurb from Cyberpower on the "bay" for $113 and it is full sinewave. I buy all my UPS from them never had an issue look brand new and had full warranty.

No sim wave. Hard lesson learned if you have other devices than laptop/desktop.

Batteries are cheaper than full units. If you don't need another then just swap the batteries out.

You might be even able to swap out to lithium batteries, which offer longer runtime, but more importantly much longer lifespan than the stock lead ones.

The Ecoflow River 3 battery generator is a pure sine wave device that can also be used as a UPS. Lowe's has them for $200. More versatile than a standard UPS.

It's about $45 for generic replacement batteries versus $100-150 for a new unit every 3-5 years.

An OEM replacement battery for me (RB1290X2) is $100 on Amazon. Same price as this new UPS. $117 if I were to get it from Cyberpower directly.
