I have a creami and only use it for ice cream. I am really tempted to get this so it can just run and the kids can get an icee whenever they want but $200 is still too much for me for what it is.

Would be a hit for parties. You think this is enough servings for parties?

Does it freeze liquor well to a slushi state as in margaritas or daiquiris, if you have a heavy pour? Dont want to wait an hour in between batches when at the pool.

Having got one as a family gift for Christmas, it's max is 48 oz at a time which would require quite a few refills at a party (unless you were doing really small cups for say 6-10 year olds).

I have two of the 96 oz version. One 96 oz makes 4/5 servings. And it takes about 20 min to slush up. *I really like having two, and the. We leave alcohol on the side so adults can add if they want.

We have the 96 oz one (max starting is 74 oz) and used it for an office thing. Think it served at least 7-8 each time but we were using 10 oz margarita cups, not huge glasses or tumblers. Doesn't take too long to get the next batch ready, but I think it helps to have your ingredients chilled. So I made it up, stored it in 2-liter batches and stuck in the fridge until we needed it.
