It bugs me that they had the iPhone 16 Plus in black at 539.99 BEFORE this coupon code (yesterday) and now they conveniently raised it to 579.99 so with the coupon code it's the same price.

No, the discount exists if for basic steps of using app and any restrictions. The poster just thought it was 20% of the listed outside, but the listed prices were actually post-discount which is fine.

The prices listed in the OP above are the prices you pay.

Its misleading because it states EXTRA 20% off -- as in another 20% off the prices shown (at least can be misinterpreted as such)

If it were an extra 20% off the prices shown above that would be a slickdeal.

I wasn't able to login the woot app with my amazon account or my woot account. I even reset my password and no luck.

Plus its only up to $40 maximum discount so it makes the deal even less slick. For me it's not worth the hassle.

Ah what the heck. I bought a watch 7 45mm stainless steel a few days ago and now on discount........ From the same sale. Same model went from 140 to 112. I emailed woot. hopefully they can refund the difference.
