This is a great value, but I don't know who the customer is. It would be weird to need a smallish battery and a charger.

I own both the 2Ah and 4Ah Ridgid batteries. The smaller 2ah are lighter and therefore less fatiguing on the arm, wrist and shoulder. Good for someone with limited strength, older age, or injury.

Good for someone that got in on a tool only deal just starting out in the ecosystem.
2ah battery is good to keep the drill or driver light.

Good for a Drill or impact driver, especially in tight places.

I agree that the battery is useful. I guess what I'm saying is that most potential customers are already in the ecosystem, so by definition they're going to have batteries and chargers already.

put drywall on your ceiling for the room you are adding in your basement and you'll suddenly understand why this 2.0AH is worth it's weight in gold. Most of my stuff is DeWalt and my 1.5AH powerstacks gets attached to my drill & impact driver 95% of the time because of weight... The flexvolts and all the other larger batteries sit on the shelf unless I'm using a light or something that forces me to use the 60v line.

I got into the ecosystem and have several devices. 3x batteries and one charger. I could definitely use another charger as I can only charge one at a time.

Fair enough. I've been wrong before, and it looks like I was wrong again here.
