I got excited cause for a minute I thought it's the Kindle version. I already have the first two compendiums on Kindle. Have the third one on price alert for years now. But it just never goes on sale.

I've got enough to read so not in a rush to start this series. Had thought I'll collect all three compendiums and then start it someday. Got the first two versions on decent sales.

Same here. Got the first two on kindle on sale as well. Couldn't pass up the physical copy at this price though. I'll be on the lookout for the remaining two physical copies to complete the series

Yeah, I was wondering for a bit myself whether I should just buy the third one as physical. But then I remembered my aging eyes can't possibly enjoy anything without zooming in 4x times Smilie. Here's hoping the Kindle goes on sale on prime day.

I'm 40 and use a light with magnifying glass for small font. Think of it this way: you will always own a copy of physical media, unless it is physically destroyed. You will never own anything you buy from Kindle store. Amazon tightened restrictions on how you can even download your Kindle books. I bought the first Kindle 18 years ago and have about 7,000 books from promotions, purchases, and free classics, but I've been switching to DRM-free and physical where possible after repeatedly losing consumer rights to products I paid non-negligible sums of money for.
