I'm very tempted, but I just checked my local library catalog and they have it so I'll get it from my local library. I just can't imagine that I would be watching this over and over again.
This is an excellent deal.
I do remember really liking this series when I had first seen it a long time ago.
My physical media collection is getting out of hand and I gotta start donating stuff I'm never going to watch again.

I watched this series as it was being released on HBO all those years ago, and I have to admit I looked forward to every episode. Outstanding cast, well written and developed characters, beautifully filmed. A little offbeat but creative and interesting.

"The Wire" was another series I enjoyed, with similar production quality.

HBO in those days was producing some top notch content.

I did really enjoy it when I had seen it before, I had taken it from my local library a few years ago, I have already put it on hold after I saw the original deal post. It was a quality series with very good acting.
I have never had cable.

It's sad that libraries don't get the love that they deserve in our digital, connected world. Many of them have vast collections of movies and series to enjoy as you please, and public library staff always seem to be helpful and pleasant.

I cut the cord from a popular dish service many years ago and never looked back. They sorta brought it on themselves, constantly raising prices while the channel packages simultaneously shrunk. Nowadays the old guard networks, studios, and news outlets are struggling to survive after double dipping for years (charging for cable access to their broadcasts AND inserting copious amounts of advertising, and even advertising in pay-to-enter movie theaters). The internet has happily replaced them with better news coverage and better entertainment, and it's mostly free. Add a Prime subscription and you have a lot to choose from. Not to mention that gigantic Ultra-Hi-Def home media setups are relatively cheap nowadays.

Very true, I'm at my local library once a week.
I have donated box sets of DVD's from my extensive collection.
They have sales a few times a year. In my city my local library is my favorite place.
